Eggless fruit cookie
Ingredients:
All purpose flour……………...………2 cups
Butter………………………………........1 stick ( ½ cup)
Sugar……………………………......…….1 cup
Candied fruit ( tutti fruity) …..….1/3 cup
Milk …………………………….......... …1-2 tbsp. (only if needed)
Method:
1.
Combine sugar and butter in a bowl and mix very
well until the mixture gets fluffy.
2.
Add all purpose flour and mix very well.
3.
Now add candied fruit to the flour mixture and if
it is crumbly then add milk.
4.
Slowly mix and roll the dough in a firm log.
5.
Wrap the log with parchment and keep it in the
freezer for 45 minutes.
6.
After 45 minutes take out from the freezer and
cut into ¼ inches thick round pieces and arrange on a cookie tray. (make sure
to keep 1 inch space in between each cookie)
7.
Bake cookie in the oven on 350° F. for 10-12
minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
8.
Transfer carefully on a cooling rack and store
in an airtight container.
